December 4: Songer Butte from Songer Wayside
TH: 8 miles out Highway 66 to a left at the Songer Wayside parking area.
Description- Take the Wayside trail out from the left of the parking lot. Go about 2 miles to the left onto the trail up Songer Butte (2,700') for lunch and views of the south Rogue Valley. 5-6 miles RT with about 600' gain. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 30 miles.
December 11: Woodruff Bridge to Takelma Gore
TH: Take Highway 62 towards Crater Lake and make a left onto FS 68 about 7 miles beyond Prospect; continue 2 miles to the TH at Woodruff Bridge. EDT: 90 min.
Description: walk along the Rogue River thru Takelma Gorge from Woodruff Bridge to the Rogue Baptist camp; return the same way; trail is rough in places due to lava rocks. A hiking stick is very useful on a very steep short stretch of trail.

December 18: Lithia Park Loop + New Wonder Trail
TH: Meet at the Bandshell parking lot in Lithia Park at 9:00 AM.
Description: Start up the Lithia loop and then break off past the Swimming Reservoir to do the New Wonder Trail. Come back down to complete the park loop. 8 miles and 750' elevation gain. Weather forecast.
