February 10: Mike's "All Dirt" cross Ashland hike and lunch Hike leader: Mike Sanson
TH: Leave shuttle car at Rite Aid. Car pool up Tollman Creek Road. Turn right on Green Meadows Way, turn left on Lupin to Oredson-Todd Woods TH parking. EDT: 10 minutes. The route follows these trails: Oredson-Todd, White Rabbit, Mike Uhtoff, below Dr. Epstein's fence, Red Queen, Witzend, Upper Lithia Park and ends at Pioneer Street. On these cold winter days, I sure like a half-day in the nearby woods (watershed), followed by a hot lunch with trail mates. So, you are invited to join me at 9:00 AM next Friday on my "All Dirt Ashland Transit." I will recon it Thursday to make sure we can make it to lunch before nightfall. Something like "Yak Tracks" might be useful to have with you. The route starts at Oredson-Todd and ends at the Plaza, primarily via Mike Uthoff and Red Queen trails. Lunch in the loft at Green Leaf restaurant is fun and delicious. Bus back to Rite Aid shuttle car to retrieve cars at trailhead. Approximately 8 miles/500' gain. Bring a dollar for the bus. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 10 miles.
