May 2: Mill Creek Falls Scenic Area (Prospect) 
TH: Take Highway 62 north from Medford towards Union Creek. Past Mile Post 42 turn right to visit the Mill Creek Falls Scenic Area near Prospect. EDT: 1:40.  Description: At the stop at the Mill Creek Falls Scenic Area we will do a hike to view Mill Creek Falls, Barr Creek Falls, and Pearsony Falls as well as the Avenue of Giant Boulders. About 5 miles and less than 300'. Weather forecast.  RT mileage: 140 miles.

May 9: Denman Wildlife Area near the base of Upper Table Rock New hike
TH: North on I-5 to Medford exit 30. North on Highway 62, bear left for the Rogue Valley Expressway and go 4.4 miles to the expressway end. Left on Highway 62 for 1/2 mile to a left on Leigh Way for 0.2 miles to a right onto Agate Road for 0.9 miles to a left onto Avenue G for 1/2 mile to a right into the Wildlife area.  EDT: 30 minutes.  We will explore the trails around Denman Wildlife Area near the base of Upper Table Rock. Six miles with not more than 150' of elevation gain. Good for birding and wildflowers. Bring lunch and water, dress for warmth and rain. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 50 miles.

May 16: Hike from Vista Point to Castle Dome (Castle Crags,CA). New Monday Hike. Leave at 8:00 AM
TH: South on I-5 to Exit 724, Castella. Right on Castle Creek Road to the state park entrance. Entrance fee is $7 per car for seniors. Continue on 2.1 miles to the Vista Point TH. EDT: 90 minutes. Description: Before heading up the Crags Trail to Castle Dome with views of the Crags and Mt. Shasta check out the short side trail over to Vista Point just off the parking lot. Distance: 6 miles; elevation change: 2,200 feet. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 180 miles.

May 23: Porcupine Mountain (near Pilot Rock) on PCT- New Monday Hike
TH: I-5 south to Mt. Ashland exit. Drive under overpass out to left on BLM Road to Pilot Rock parking lot. Description: Hike up trail to open ridge to view Pilot Rock on right and take PCT to left out to Porcupine Mountain. Great views of Mt. Shasta south, Mt. Ashland west, Mt. McLoughlin north, and Soda Mountain east. Hike Distance: 7.5 miles, 1,500'.Weather Forecast. RT mileage: 30 miles.

May 30: Hike at Steve Stark's 40 Acre Mountain Lake Property + Lost Creek Falls New Monday Hike
TH: From Rite Aid head east on Highway 66 to a left on Dead Indian Memorial Road. Go just past 20 miles to 20948 DIM Road. Description: We're invited to explore Steve's mountain hideaway with a seasonal lake that attracts water fowl. View Spring flowers and the surrounding forest. 5 miles, mostly level. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 50 miles.
