Leave from the Rite Aid parking lot on Ashland Street promptly at 9:00 AM unless otherwise indicated. Bring water, lunch, hat, sun-screen and rain gear. November 1: Enchanted Forest to Felton Memorial
TH: Thru Jacksonville and take Highway 238 towards Applegate for 15 miles. Just before downtown Applegate and the bridge, make a right onto North Applegate Road for 4.5 miles to a right on Kubli Road for 400' and then right on Slagle Creek Road for 1.5 miles to the pavement end at the TH. EDT: 60 minutes. Description: Up through the Forest to right on bridge out to the Felton Memorial for lunch and back. 5 miles & 500'. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 80 miles.

November 8: Little Songer Butte @ Emigrant Lake & Quarry Trail - 2 HikesLeave at 9:30 AM
TH: Head out Highway 66 to just past the 7 mile marker and make a left onto the Greensprings Spur. Go one mile down that road to a right into the parking at the TH. EDT: 15 minutes. Description: Go up and out the Spur Trail from the lot. Out to the far point of the peninsula by the dry lake shore. Turn right up the trail to the Little Songer cutoff on the left. Go up Little Songer Trail to the Butte. Return to lot, the Quarry Trail is across the road from the lot. Marshland, good Birding area. 7 miles out and back 400' gain. Weather forecast.  RT mileage: 20 miles

November 15: Grizzly Peak 
TH: Left on Highway 66 for 0.8 miles to a left onto Dead Indian Memorial Highway for 6.7 miles to a left onto Shale City Road and follow the Grizzly Peak Trail signs: 3 miles on pavement, 2 miles on dirt.  EDT: 30 minutes. Description: great views over the Rogue Valley. Distance: 5.2 miles; elevation gain: 1,200 ft. Weather forecast. RT mileage:30 mi.

November22: Lost Creek Lake-Blue Grotto Falls from Lewis Road (lot #3) Leave at 9:00 A.M. (We actually did North Shore to the Blue Grotto)
TH: Take Crater Lake Highway / SR62 past Lost Creek Lake and over Peyton Bridge to a left on Lewis Road down one mile to the third parking lot by the Rogue River TH. Description: Follow trail 2 1/2 miles to a right before bridge to Blue Grotto Falls. EDT: 1 hour. Distance:5+ miles; elevation gain about 300 feet. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 100 miles.

November 29: Buck Rock Tunnel
TH: From Rite Aid, take Highway 66 nine miles to a right on Buckhorn Springs Road then a quick right up Emigrant Creek Road for two miles to the parking area on the left. EDT: 25 minutes. Description: Go around the gate across the road from the parking area and continue up the Buck Rock Trail. The first split off trail to the left takes you 2 miles up to the East portal of the tunnel project. Go out and up to the main trail for another 2 miles to the West portal for lunch. Back down the main trail to the parking area . 6+ mile loop with 800' gain. Weather forecast.  RT mileage: 30 miles.
