Leave from the Rite Aid parking lot on Ashland Street promptly at 9:00 AM unless otherwise indicated. Bring water, lunch, hat and sun-screen. June 14 - Grizzly Peak Leave Rite Aid at 8:00 AM Leader: Judy Holy
TH: Left on Highway 66 for 0.8 miles to a left onto Dead Indian Memorial Highway for 6.7 miles to a left onto Shale City Road and follow the Grizzly Peak Trail signs: 3 miles on pavement, 2 miles on dirt.  EDT: 30 minutes. Description: spring flowers should be in full bloom; great views over the Rogue Valley. Distance: 5 miles; elevation gain: 1,200 ft. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 30 miles.

June 28: Upper Rogue River Trail: Natural Bridge to Woodruff Bridgeleave at 8:30 am Leaders: Judy Holy and Elisabeth Zinser.
TH: Take Highway 62 north from Medford to Natural Bridge parking (left off of 62 about 9 miles north of Prospect). EDT: 105 min. Description: Follow a scenic, “generally level” trail along the Rogue River from Natural Bridge to Woodruff Bridge (3.5 miles) and return. Option if enough hikers and cars: Place a shuttle car at Woodruff Bridge parking so that some can hike one-way for 3.5 miles and enjoy a long wait; and others can continue for 1.5 on the Takelma Gorge section and return. Distance: either 3.5 miles or 6.5-7.0 miles; elevation gain: 500 feet. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 150 miles
