Stroll the Bear Creek Greenway to Phoenix where we will have lunch at La Tapatia before returning to Ashland on the bus. TH:
Head north on I-5 to Exit 21, Talent. Left towards Talent and then right on Highway 99 for 2.3 miles to the Blue Heron Park on the right. EDT: 15 minutes.

February 20: Oredson-Todd Woods to Lithia Park. Leave at 9:30 AM Hike Leader: Rich Stickle.
TH: From the Rite Aid parking lot drive up Tolman Creek Rd about a mile. Turn right onto Green Meadows. Turn left on Lupine to Oredson Todd Woods parking. Description: Follow trail into the woods. Many trails in the woods but best to take the high trail so you don't have to criss-cross the creek too much. Take the bridge in front of the water fall up out of the woods to the right. Follow the trail around to the White Rabbit TH and past it until the trail becomes upper Park St. Down Park to left onto the TID canal trail. Take the TID trail past Walker Ave. When trail access ends take bridge to left up steps to road. Turn right onto the road (Pinecrest Terrace). Continue to intersection of Woodland. Turn left on Pinecrest and follow it around the gorge to Elkader. Go down Elkader to left on Ivy Ln. Up Ivy, cross Mountain Ave continue on Ivy to driveway at end on right, down driveway and into woods. This is Liberty Street Park.
Follow trail around to right then left to exit the woods out driveway to Morton St. Cross Morton to Waterline Rd follow Waterline through neighborhood and up to Ashland Loop Rd. Right on A L Rd cross Terrace Ave short jog to left then right down Ashland Loop Rd. Past Happy Horse Farm take foot path by fence to left down hill to Glenview. Take Glenview to left and down to Lithia Park entrance behind the swimming reservoir. Follow trail through park to plaza for lunch. Take RVTD bus (departs every 20 minutes and costs $1) to Bi-Mart stop then back to Rite Aid parking lot. Distance: 5 Miles. Elevation Gain: 400 feet. RT Mileage 0. Weather forecast.
February 27: Snowshoe trip: Mt Ashland Ski Area to Grouse Gap Leave at 9:30 AM
TH: Closed gate on FS Road 20, just beyond the Mt Ashland Ski Area parking lot; Sno-Park permit required for drivers; passengers should help pay for it. EDT: 30 minutes. Description: From the ski area back parking lot take FS 20 for 2.3 miles to the turn for the Grouse Gap shelter. Head south for 0.3 miles to the shelter for lunch. Return the same way. Distance: 5 miles; elevation gain: around 400 feet. Big Red SNOTEL. Weather Forecast. RT mileage: 45 miles.
