Leave from Haggen's's parking lot in Ashland promptly at 9:00 AM unless otherwise indicated. Bring water, lunch, hat, sun-screen and rain gear. June 1: PCT: Hyatt Lake to Greensprings Summit
TH: Hwy 66 17.5 miles to Greensprings Inn; left 3 mi to PCT; leave shuttle car at Greensprings Summit; EDT: 45 min
Description: Walk along PCT thru flower-filled woods and meadows.
Distance: 7.4 miles; elev gain: 1200 ft. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 45 mi 

June 8: Upper Rogue River Trail: Woodruff Bridge to Natural Bridge RT (p. 92 in 100 Hikes)—leave at 8:30
TH: Hwy 62 to Woodruff Bridge turn off; go right to parking area just before the bridge
Description: Follow the river upstream from Woodruff Bridge to Natural Bridge and back
Distance: 7.5 miles; elev. gain: 100 ft. Weather forecast. RT driving mileage: 140 miles.

June 15: PCT from Pilot Rock Road to Porcupine Gap RT
TH: Take Mt. Ashland exit 6 off I-5; follow old Hwy. 99 under the freeway 2.3 miles; go left on Pilot Rock Road, drive 1 mile to PCT crossing (Sky King Cole TH); high clearance vehicles highly recommended. EDT: 30 min.
Description: Walk along PCT past Pilot Rock to Porcupine Gap; turn around and walk back one mile to Babbitt Gap for lunch with spectacular view of Mt. Shasta, Mt. Eddy and Pilot Rock.  After lunch, retrace the rest of the route back to the TH.
Distance: 7.5 miles; elev. gain: 1100 ft. Weather forecast.  RT driving mileage: 32 miles

June 22: Deadfall Lakes (Mt Eddy) RT (p. 226 in 100 Hikes)—leave 8:30 am
TH: Drive south on I-5 and take Stewart Springs Rd exit (about 1.5 miles after rest area at Weed airport); turn right at stop sign, then left onto Stewart Springs Rd; after 4 miles turn right onto Road 17 for 9.3 miles to PCT crossing; continue an additional 1.3 miles to Deadfall Lakes TH
Description: Walk uphill 1.5 miles along Deadfall Creek to junction with PCT at Middle Deadfall Lake; continue uphill another 1.5 miles to Upper Deadfall Lake.
Distance: 6 miles; elevation gain: 1500 ft. Weather forecast.  RT mileage: 165 miles

June 29: Wagner Gap Glade (p. 148 in 100 Hikes)—meet 8:30 am
TH: From Talent take Rapp Rd and Wagner Creek Rd 7.6 mi to junction with FS 22; drive 2 mi on FS 22 to TH; parking area is on right side of road.  EDT: 45 min
Description: uphill most of the way, but great flower displays; for those so inclined, an additional 2 miles and 550 ft elevation gain will bring you to the top of Wagner Butte for a 360 deg panoramic view.
