February 6: Sterling Mine Ditch Trail: south from Armstrong Gulch (100 Hikes, p. 152)
TH: Proceed west from Phoenix to Sterling Creek Rd; turn left (south) for 7.3 miles then turn left onto Deming Gulch Rd; at the first road junction turn right 1.2 miles to the Armstrong Gulch TH; do not stop at the new TH; continue 1/3 mile uphill to the old one. EDT: 60 min
Description: Follow the Sterling Mine Ditch trail 3.5 miles till lunch time, then retrace route; great views if the weather is clear.

February 13: Little Grayback Trail
TH: From Ruch travel south on Upper Applegate Rd to Applegate Dam; follow the road across the dam for 1.5 mi; turn left for 2 mi to French Gulch divide TH. EDT: 60 min.
Description: steady climb across the southern slopes of Little Grayback Mt toward Squaw Peak; return the same way. Watch out for graybacks (ticks).

February 20: Lost Creek Lake (North Shore) (100 Hikes, p.88)
TH: Drive 35.5 mi on Hwy 62; turn left on Lewis Rd 1 mi to TH; EDT: 60 min
Description: “generally level”, pretty trail through the woods along the north shore of Lost Creek Lake; a short detour to see the Blue Grotto is an option for those who haven’t been there; return the same way

February 27: Upper Table Rock
TH: Follow Table Rock Road (off Biddle Rd in Central Point) for 5.2 mi; turn right on Modoc Road for 1.5 mi to trailhead parking area; EDT: 45 min.
Description: Follow the trail to the top of the mesa, then walk along Meadowlark Lane past the radar station to the Sam’s Valley overlook; return to the frog pond for lunch.
