June 7: Grizzly Peak (100 Hikes, p. 146)
TH: Drive Dead Indian Memorial Highway 7 mi; turn left on Shale City Rd and follow Grizzly Peak Trail signs: 3 mi on pavement, 2 mi on dirt.  EDT: 30 min
Description: spring flowers should be in full bloom; great views over the Rogue Valley
Distance: 5 miles; elev. gain: 1200 ft.  Weather forecast. RT mileage: 30 mi

June 14: Upper Rogue River Tr: Union Ck to Woodruff Br (p. 92 in 100 Hikes)leave at 8:30 am
TH: Hwy 62 to Union Creek; leave shuttle car at Woodruff Bridge on the way. EDT: 105 min
Description: from the Rogue River Gorge overlook follow the river downstream to Woodruff Bridge. It’s springtime along the Rogue—dogwoods and other flowers should be in bloom.
Distance: 7.5 mi; elev gain: 100 ft. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 150 mi

June 21: PCT: Hyatt Lake to Greensprings Summit
TH: Hwy 66 17.5 miles to Greensprings Inn; left 3 mi to PCT; leave shuttle car at Greensprings Summit; EDT: 45 min
Description: Walk along PCT thru flower-filled woods and meadows.
Distance: 7.4 miles; elev gain: 1200 ft. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 45 mi 

June 28: PCT: Soda Mt Rd to Little Pilot Peak RT
TH: Drive Hwy 66 14 miles and turn right on Soda Mt Rd just before reaching Greensprings Summit; continue some 5 mi to PCT crossing.  EDT: 45 min
Description: follow PCT south through meadows and forest to Little Pilot Peak; return the same way.
Distance: 6 mi; elev gain: 1000 ft. Weather forecast. RT mileage: 50 mi
