March 3: Lost Creek Lake (North Shore) (p.78 in 100 Hikes)
TH: Drive 35.5 mi on Hwy 62; turn left on Lewis Rd 1 mi to TH; EDT: 60 min
Description: "generally level", pretty trail through the woods along the east shore of Lost Creek Lake past the spur to the Blue Grotto and on to our usual lunch spot at the bench below a rock outcrop overlooking the lake; return the same way
Distance: about 7 mi RT; elev. gain: about 500 ft.  RT mileage: 100 mi

March 10: Applegate Lake Loop (p. 142 in 100 Hikes)
TH: Take Hwy 238 from Jacksonville area to Ruch (8 mi); take Upper Applegate Rd 15 mi to Applegate Dam; drive left across dam to French Gulch TH (1.2 mi); EDT: 60 min
Description: Make a loop on the Applegate Lake Trail system, with a detour to Hal's Point for lunch
Distance: 6.4 mi; elevation gain: about 500 ft. RT mileage: 80 mi

March 17: Crater Lake Snowshow Trip - Leave Safeway 8:00 AM- Leader: Dan Stubblefield
TH: Cafeteria parking lot, Crater Lake NP; EDT: 120 min
Description: this farewell-to-winter walk follows the rim of the lake in a clockwise direction; splendid views, if the weather is sunny; return the same way; last snowshoe trip of the season. If there is insufficient snow, Dan will redirect us to another site.
Distance: 5 mi RT; elev gain: 200-300 ft. RT mileage: 190 mi

March 24: Jacksonville Woodlands Trail System
TH: City parking lot in Jacksonville behind post office; EDT: 30 min
Description: welcome spring with this jaunt along the Jacksonville trail system, including Beekman Woods trail; several steep stretches.
Distance: about 6 miles; elev. gain850 ft. RT mileage: 35 mi

March 31: Snowshoe Bull Gap Loop
TH: Take Hwy I-5 South to Exit 6, the Mt. Ashland ski Road. EDT: 30 min
Description: Loop trail through the woods. Plan to have lunch at one of the restaurants at Exit 14.
Distance: 3.5 miles; elev. gain: 650 ft. RT mileage: 40 mi
