August 4: Abbott Butte (p. 89 in 100 Hikes) - Meet 8:30 AM TH: Take Hwy 62 towards Crater Lake past the 51 mi marker; turn left onto Woodruff Meadows Rd #68 12.8 mi (last 7.7 mi are one-lane gravel); EDT: 105 min Description: pleasant woods and flower-filled meadows, great views on the way to lunch below the abandoned lookout tower on top of Abbott Butte; return the same way RT: distance: 7.5 mi; elev gain: 2500 ft. August 11: Wagner Butte (p. 140 in 100 Hikes) Meet at 8:30 AM. TH: From Talent take Rapp Rd and Wagner Creek Rd 7.6 mi to junction with FS 22; go left 2mi on FS 22 to TH. EDT: 45 min
Description: uphill most of the way, but great flower displays and spectacular panoramic views from the top.

August 18: Mount Bailey (p. 56 in 100 Hikes) - Meet 8:00 AM- New Hike We are going to try a new route to the summit this year. TH:Take Hwy 62 to Union Creek, then branch left on Hwy 230. Approximately 2.2 miles past the Crater Rim Viewpoint rest area make a left onto Road 3703. Follow 3703 for 4.6 miles to the junction with Bear Creek Road. Bear right on Bear Creek Road for 0.7 miles to the TH on the right; an abandoned road. EDT: 2 hr Description: About 6 miles round trip to the top and back; elevation gain: 2,400 ft. August 25: Stuart Falls (p. 104 in 100 Hikes) New Hike TH: Take Crater Lake Highway to the Prospect turnoff. At the Prospect Hotel corner take Red Blanket Road East for 1.1 miles. Bear left on Red Blanket for 0.4 mile, then right to stay on Red Blanket gravel road for 11.3 miles (name changes to Road 6205) to its end and a large parking /turnaround area. EDT: 90 min. Description: Waterfalls and huckleberries along this highly scenic trail on the way to Stuart Falls. Distance 9+ miles; elevation gain 1,500 ft. RT Mileage: 140 mi
