Armstrong Gulc to North End of Sterling Mine Ditch 4-1-19

Photos by Barry M., Francie and Patricia

We were very lucky to have good weather as the forecast called for heavy rain. We 10 hikers took the new trail up to the Sterling Mine Ditch and did 9 miles return to north where the trail ends and another trail heads east and uphill. Along the way we found a couple of bridges over small streams.

The flowers had started to emerge and some good pictures were taken. We also stopped to listen for birds as Barry McKenzie identified them.

We found some good logs to sit on for lunch and no rain.

After the 9 miles return we went off to Boomtown for beer and fries. A great day and lucky for decent weather.
