We decided to do Jacksonville rather than the originally scheduled Fish Lake snowshoe since there had been no new snow in over a week and the existing snow was pock marked and crusty.

Not a bad day for hiking above Jacksonville. An hour or so of steady rain at the outset but then just an overcast sky. Temperatures in the low 40s.

We ended up having lunch at the Schoolhaus Brewhaus in the private room, which was quite comfortable for 12 people around the large table.
