The hard core Monday hikers contuned their conquest of the Greenway, this time from Phoenix to Medford. We sometimes choose easy things to conquer. Once again the group marched right along and we ate up the 6 miles in short order. That reminded us that we needed a short ordrr cook so we retired to the Common Block Brew Pub for lunch.
Along the way we stopped at a bird park near the basebal fields where dozens of birds were hovering at suspended bird feeders. We also visited a park on the way in Medford and checked out the murals under the I-5 near Main Street. Bear Creek was fairly roaring it was so full of water and rapids had developed here and there.
The Pub welcomed us and had a table for ten ready to use. Having satiated ourselves in respect to food and drink, we wandered over to the bus station and caught the Number 10 back to Phoenix for the cars. A good time was had by all.
