On Wednesday we had 4 hikers come out to hike the Enchanted Forest. The weather was predicting rain so we came prepared. We started hiking a little after 10 AM. To our surprise it was already 53o and partly cloudy.
We hiked along and saw the giant maple leaves and I did a photo trick to make it look like you could float away while holding one. We made our way out to the Felton Memorial. There were some new log benches to sit on. We had a snack then continued back to the original trail. We decided to head out for another mile, but changed our minds.
As we came back, we took the trail to the left and saw a different view. We could see a big rain storm coming in and were glad we decided to turn back. We got back to our cars by 12:50pm We had hiked 4.85 miles and gained 1,043 of elevation.
