Ashland Watershed Lewis Loop 2-15-17

Six hardy souls set out on a hike in the Ashland Watershed, despite a high wind and possible rain forecast.  We were rewarded with a good local hike and low 60 degree weather, but no rain.  Also, we have learned that if we are going to be in the trees, the wind is never an issue.

There were the normal share of uphill portions, but the trail was easy to follow.  We had views of the Mt. Ashland ski area and much of the Ashland Watershed area, along with views of Ashland, Medford and Mt. McLoughlin.  Lunch was held on top of a hill, using a well-placed picnic table and some sunshine.

Refreshments were taken at Flip on Main Street, next to Liquid Assets.
