Ten hardy hikers joined Mike Sanson in an “all dirt” trek from Todd Ordeson Trailhead to the Ashland Plaza. The weather cooperated beautifully with intermittent sun and no rain. There were a number of wardrobe adjustment stops as we climbed and climber and climbed.
We followed the Epstein fenceline down to the beginning or the end (depending on how you look at it) of Upper Red Queen and proceeded to make excellent time as we headed down Red Queen and through Lithia Park to lunch at Greenleaf. Lunch was yummy, the beers were cold and a good time was had by all.
