On Wednesday we had 9 hikers come out to hike the day before Thanksgiving. I like to keep it short and close to home in case anyone has responsibilities to take care of for the next day. It was 46° and partly cloudy.
We started at the Oredson Todd trailhead and made our way around the Oredson Todd Loop and up to the Mike Uhtoff trail. We went down the Queen of Hearts and had lunch at the White Rabbit Upper trailhead. Scott decided to leave the group and continue hiking. Joe, decided that he was slower than us so he headed back on the White Rabbit trail.
We made our way back to the cars and I said I hoped Joe made it back since I had not left behind a single hiker... yet. We met him back at the cars and we had hiked 5.22 miles and gained 1,539 feet of elevation.
