Upper Rogue River Trail: Woodruff Creek to Bridge To Nowhere RT 10-3-16

Photos by Alex and Rich

The Monday Hiking Group braved 90% rain with temps in the 40s and we're rewarded with spectacular fall colors on the Upper Rogue. Lots of ooohhs and aaahhs as the vine maples and dogwoods were red, pink, and gold. The Rogue also put on a show from calm and reflecting the colors to white water rushing through the Gorge.

We met a hiking group from Washington state that says hello to Carol Mockridge. And enjoyed a breathtaking view for lunch at Viani falls. BTW no rain until last part of hike by the car.
