It was a bit chilly at the start, but we enjoyed a good hike, with the Upper Rogue at its best. There were a few trees down but none that presented a tough obstacle. We parked at Woodruff Bridge and hiked both ways, to Nob Gorge and Takelma Gorge. The water remained high so the gorges were spectacular.
We welcomed a new and experienced hiker, Kathy Denzer, so hike leaders may meet her on other days.
A great day that culminated at Phil's Frosty.
