We did two segments of the North Umpqua trail today. The Panther segment from the Panther TH down to the Mott TH and the Mott Segment from the Mott TH down to the Wright Creek TH.

The trails were in good shape with the exception of some deadfall and an overabundance of poison oak. The Panther segment was the less interesting of the two; we were often high above and out of sight of the river although close enough to hear traffic noise from Highway 138.
