Another beautiful day for a hike. Trail temperatures were in the low 70s. Lots of wildflowers, although perhaps a week past their prime.
The 3.8 miles of FS 20 between Siskiyou Gap and Wrangle Gap are still in very poor condition. So we decided to come back by heading west on FS 20 and down Beaver Creek Road into the Applegate Valley. This added about 20 miles to the trip but allowed us to stop at the Country Club on the way home. FS 20 and Beaver Creek Road are both relatively good condition gravel from Jackson Gap west for about 13 miles before you hit blacktop.
