Twelve of us headed up to Greensprings to hike along the PCT to Hobart Bluff. The weather was good, the path was dry with only a few downed trees in the way and the flowers were out in force. It was clear sailing to the top for lunch. We could see from Mt. Ashland, Mt. Shasta to Mt. McLoughlin. You could even see all the way to Crater Lake and the very top of Union Peak.
Barry Harris was just back from Croatia and shared some special chocolate with the group. After a leisurely lunch, we headed back to the cars and said our goodbyes. It was good to be outside.
