Today we hiked to the top of Hobart Bluff. This was our first real winter hike due to the snow. We started with about 1 inch of snow on the ground, but ended up with up to 6 inches on the trail as we reached to top.
It was snowing most of the way up, cleared for lunch, then rained down on us occasionally on the way down as the sun warmed the trees above us. For some, this was their 5th trip to the top in 2020 and will probably be their last for the season. Lunch was spectacular as we absorbed the storm driven scenery around us while basking in the sun.
