Upper Table Rock 4-11-16

Photos by Alex and Gladys

Comfortable temperature and large expanses of flowers made for a very pleasant hike.  According to Google Maps, we hiked along Pumice Lane.  Several years ago Google Maps showed house numbers along this track, although it no longer does so.  Obviously at least part of Upper Table Rock had been platted for a housing development at one time.

We ate lunch in an area free of poison oak on a rock outcrop above Sam's Valley looking out at Lower Table Rock.  After the hike four of us partook of beer and excellent hamburgers on the deck of the Caldera Tap House on Water St in Ashland.
