Lovely day, with a dry trail to the top of Upper Table Rock and a reasonably dry trail on top to the frog pond--but no frogs this year.
There was some grumbling after lunch when the 100 - 200 yard stroll to get a view of the mountains turned out to be more like 600 yards. Some people just don't understand estimates.
The Henderson's fawn lilies were in full bloom all the way to the top, but only a couple of patches of grass widows were still in flower on top. Vultures were soaring and Meadowlarks were singing, so spring is already here.
