Little Grayback 5-2-16

Looked like it was going to be a hot uphill slog, but shortly after the start the clouds rolled in and turned it into a pleasant uphill slog.

Unusually large abundance of flowers, probably because this was the latest time of the year that we had done this hike. Two different offerings of chocolate recharged us for the downhill jaunt.

A couple from Ashland came up to us as we were finishing lunch, and we urged them strongly to check out the Ashland Hiking Group website.  The woman was British, so they are probably candidates for the Wednesday group.

Refreshments at Boomtown in Jacksonville.
