So much for the weather forecast. The rain never appeared and we ended up with a hike in the sun. The lake was placid and almost mirror image. The trail was in good shape for this time of year but there were some trees down across the trail, none that caused much inconvenience. One frozen bridge required some care.
We started out at 31 degrees and finished in the 40's.
It turned out to be a fine hike and most of us enjoyed wine and cheese afterwards.
