North Shore - Lost Creek Lake 2-20-15

Another wonderful mid-winter day in paradise.

A floating structure that was originally idenfified by a not-to-be-named person as an algae watching station turned out to be nothing more than an offshore toilet facility. However, nobody felt enough of an urge to swim out to it.

A downed Ponderosa Pine lying across the trail was full of bullet holes, but we suspect that it was felled by the recent windstorm rather than a visually challanged hunter. A bench along the trail that had some 10 spent 22 shells lying on it confirmed that the local population is quite vigilant about exercising their second amendment rights.

Four of us took refreshments outdoors at the Rogue Valley Lodge
