Da-Ku-Be-Te-De Trail 4-15-22

We changed our hike due to concerns about possible snow and ice on the steep ridge below Wolf Gap. To be rescheduled.

We were rewarded by a beautiful day along the shore of Applegate Lake. The sun was out and it warmed up until we had gotten down to sweat shirts. The Lake had much more water than last time and there were a few boats out. The red buttes looked full of snow so we won't be hiking there soon.

We did about 7.8 miles return and stopped for a while to sit on the deck chairs at one of the campsites with a good view of the Lake. A worker was busy cutting down infected trees with a chainsaw close by.

After the hike we relaxed with a glass of wine and a plate of cheese at Stage Cellars.
