How to Send Photos and Videos for the AHG Website

Photos should be a minimum of 1,000 pixels on the long side. 

There are two easy ways to send photos and videos for the website.

If the photos are on your Apple device (iPhone, iPad, Mac, ...) you can use Mail Drop.  Click here for the Mail Drop instructions.

Another option is to use a free Dropbox account.

To setup a free Dropbox account:

  1. Create an account on dropbox.com.
  2. Type your name and email address (your email address is the username for your Dropbox account).
  3. Type a unique password.
  4. Click the box to agree to the Dropbox terms.
  5. Click Create an account.

Once you have a Dropbox account, you can easily send photos:

  1. Go to the Dropbox Transfer website (https://www.dropbox.com/transfer)
  2. Select the files that you want to transfer
  3. Upload the files
  4. Hit the Create Transfer button
  5. Hit the Send Email button and enter an email address and a message if desired

Note: The transfer link created by the Dropbox Transfer app expires after 7 days.  If you want to save your photos permanently on Dropbox follow the directions below

To save / share a file or folder with the Dropbox website:

  1. Sign in to dropbox.com.
  2. Click Upload files or Upload folder
  3. Select the files or folder to upload
  4. Click Files in the left column.
  5. Hover over the file or folder you’d like to share.
  6. Click Share. 
  7. Type the Email, name, or group of the person (or people) you’d like to share with.
  8. Click Share. They’ll receive an email with a link to the file or folder.
