February 2: - Ashland Watershed- A winter loop hike from Safeway.  Up Mountain to Pinball to Alice in Wonderland to BTI back to town.  Lunch at a restaurant of the group's choosing. Distance 7.3 miles; elevation gain 1,500 feet.  RT mileage: 0 miles.

February 9: Stewart State Park Boat Launch to Needle Rock - TH: Take Crater Lake Highway / SR62 for 33 miles to Stewart State Park.  Follow signs to boat launch area and park.  EDT: 1 hour.  Description:  follow trail along lake to the bridge over the Rogue.  Cross the river and then left for a bit on Lewis Road and then up to Needle Rock for lunch.  Return the same way.  Distance: 9 miles; elevation gain about 1,000 feet.  RT mileage: 100 miles.

February 16: Collings Mountain (above Applegate Reservoir) (p.146 in 100 Hikes). TH: Drive south from Ruch about 20 mi to TH at Watkins Campground; drop off shuttle car along the way at Hart-tish Park, 3.4 mi back along the road; EDT: 75 min. Description: woodsy trail with excellent views. Distance: 6.5 mi; total elev. gain: 2000 ft. RT mileage: 85 mi.

February 23: Pederson Nordic Trail - New Snowshoe Trip TH: Take DIM to the PCT crossing / Pederson Snopark just past milepost 27. Snow Park Permit Required. EDT: 45 minutes. Description: Head north on the Pederson Nordic Trail for 2 miles to the Brown Mountain Shelter.  After lunch take the Hyatt / Lake of the Woods trail southwest about 1 mile to the Pederson snowmobile trail.  Follow the snowmobile trail back to DIM. Distance 4.5 miles; elev. gain: 500 feet. RT mileage: 60 miles.
